SOV·32 Frequently Asked Questions | SOV Systems
1. What is SOV·32?
SOV·32 is a daily wellbeing and WHS compliance app built specifically for Australian blue-collar workforces. Workers complete brief daily check-ins and listen to a short podcast-style teaching each working day. Supervisors get early visibility of issues before they escalate. Employers get a GPS-located, timestamped compliance record — built automatically as part of the daily routine.
It runs in the browser on any smartphone. No app store download, no IT project.
2. Who is SOV·32 designed for?
SOV·32 is built for Australian blue-collar workforces — construction, civil, mining, agriculture, transport, and any industry where the crew works hard in high-pressure environments and is least likely to put their hand up when things get tough.
There are three user levels: workers, supervisors, and management. Each sees only what they need to see.
3. Does it require an app store download?
No. SOV·32 is a Progressive Web App — it runs directly in the browser on any smartphone, Android or iPhone. Workers and supervisors log in by phone number; management by email. Nothing to install, nothing for IT to manage.
4. How much time does it take out of the working day?
The daily podcast teaching is designed for the commute or pre-start. The check-ins take seconds, not minutes. The total daily time commitment is intentionally minimal — it's built for people who are already busy.
5. How does the flag system work?
SOV·32 uses a four-level flag system so concerns can be raised from the floor or from management — and dealt with at the lowest level possible.
Sidebar first: Opens a private two-way conversation between a worker and their supervisor. Most issues are resolved here, with no escalation needed.
Escalation with protection: Higher-level concerns go to management with no-reprisal shielding. When a concern is raised about a supervisor, the reporting worker's identity and complaint are hidden from that supervisor while management responds.
Accountable outcomes: Escalated matters follow a documented resolution path and close only with sign-off from the relevant parties — every decision named, dated, and timestamped.
6. What does a manager see — and what can't they see?
Management sees enough to act early — open flags, resolution status, and workforce patterns. The daily log check-ins are not surveillance; individual entries are private to the worker and their supervisor unless a flag is raised.
7. What compliance record does SOV·32 create?
Every log, flag, and resolution creates a contemporaneous record as it happens — GPS-located, timestamped, a dated account of what was done, when, and where.
SOV·32 supports — it does not replace — an officer's due-diligence obligations under the WHS Act. It gives you the evidence trail; the duty of care remains yours.
8. Is SOV·32 a mental health service?
No. SOV·32 is not a clinical service, a crisis line, or a diagnostic tool, and it is not a substitute for professional mental-health care or emergency services.
If someone is in crisis, the app's Safe Support screen connects them directly to real help — Lifeline, MATES in Construction, and other crisis services.
We put this in writing because trust is the whole product.
9. How does a business get started?
Book a 20-minute demo and we'll walk you through the app on your phone. From there, getting your crew set up is straightforward — no IT involvement required.
10. What does SOV·32 cost?
Pricing is based on workforce size and is available on request. Contact us for a conversation — we'll recommend the right tier for your business.
SOV·32 is available in two tiers:
SaaS (Software as a Service) — you access the app on a subscription basis. Your business manages the day-to-day, and your compliance records are held within your own systems.
CaaS (Compliance as a Service) — everything in SaaS, plus SOV Systems independently holds your compliance records outside your business systems. This means your records are protected from interference and are available as independent evidence if you ever need them.
Not sure which is right for you? We'll help you work that out in your demo conversation.
